My Monday Look-A-Like...

Seems like I never have any time to myself. Work, volunteer, the kids, the guy....how did 24 hours turn into 2.4?

You know, I think I almost panicked when I found out I would have a Monday off --- WHAT?! WTH am I gonna do? You see,...Lazy by nature, I do keep busy so as not to become a permanent fixture to the bed with a book molded to my face. Bad enough I have pillow creases! Sooo....what do I do??? I grabbed a book and sat down on "the guys'" couch. :)

ok ok...I actually ran into the studio for an hour (Radio people don't really have time off) and I gathered my gossip for Nashville News, did my report...THEN grabbed the book and plopped myself down on the couch. Determined to break routine...I decided to become a Couch-Potato-to-the-Next-Level by grabbing the remote control. [silence.....crickets....Insert suspense music here] *HISTORY NOTE: DH has not had cable/television for a number of years.

First thing I see: LOOK-A-LIKE. OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Exciting!!!!!!!!!!! I soooooo have to watch it! Make-Up Artist, Paul Venoit ( http://www.lookaliketv.com/styleteam.html ) and I went to the same school, he lived down the street from me, I was cast in his monologue (which I brutalized...sorry Paul!), and hung out summers with his talented cousin Woodster B! It is such a THRILL to see how successful he is! Watched the show x2! It was nice to finally see Paul on TV again...maybe I'll catch him on Rachel Ray (that's another Blog) next time!

Monday was good! I survived!
It included: Ellen, Rachel Ray, a new fishstick recipe, driving to Chesley w/ a friend, stopping in Tara for a delicious Cheeseburger, finding the perfect shoes & a cool ring, purchasing The Bee Gees Greatest Hits & Jeremy Hotz (the DVD, not him) & seeing Paul x 2 on Look-A-Like...how can life get any better? :)

My question to you is...if I were to audition for Look-A-Like, which actress do you think I look like?

The Beginning...

Okey dokey....here I am. Never, ever thought I would be a Blogger, but here I am. I guess this is a quiet way for me to voice who I am & what I do in life. A diary of sorts. A bestfriend who will not reply back...unless, of course, YOU reply! (Which I hope you do!)

It is a Tuesday. Not much to do, except housework...so here I am. :)

Welcome to my Blog and be patient with me as I learn the ropes, and get into routine. My Nana loved to write and did so in a storyteller way to keep her mind active (which it was until her death at almost 98 yrs.) So....let the stories begin.....
